David Lanci - CEO & Founder.
At a very early age, David was pushed into the restaurant industry and started at the proverbial bottom as a dishwasher, busboy and more. His early years were filled with rich traditions of big family meals in a classic Italian home. Both of his parents were Italian immigrants who journeyed to America in the late 50's and instilled a hard work ethic.
His professional experience began by working as a Sous Chef and later as an Executive Chef for many catering, foodservice, and restaurant companies in New England. Following that, David moved from the kitchen line to overseeing all kitchen and restaurant operations. With hard work and passion as his foundation, David then moved to the Executive offices to eventually oversee finance, operations, sales, and marketing departments for both big, small, private and public companies. David also spent a brief part of his career selling technology solutions to the restaurant industry where he amassed even more knowledge of how technology has changed a hardened and close-minded industry. He missed being closer to the food and the unique personalities of the foodservice industry. He left the technology industry to start NexDine.
David attended Johnson & Wales in Providence, RI, the leader in Hospitality education programs. David also earned an MBA from Suffolk University in Boston. David is an occasional adjunct Professor at the Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk University, teaching in the Executive MBA program.
When he is not driving the highways and byways of the Northeast, David rests his head in Foxboro, MA with his wife Debra and two children Stefano and Marcello. His hobbies include shuffling his kids to sporting events, playing music, golf, and commenting on classic movies.
